So, why another job board?

September 18, 2008 – 10:15 pm | by Kevin

There’s a saying, “Practice what you preach.”  Here at HotStartupJobs.com, we do exactly that.  A startup company identifies a need and aims to fill that gap.  HotStartupJobs fills a niche that other job boards, such as Monster.com, HotJobs.com and CareerBuilder.com, cannot - we pull together jobs from many sources that focus on startup type companies.  Many of the bigger job boards are limited to their postings, but why limit yourself?  Think outside of the box!

Startup companies use the latest technologies to reach their audience.  While the bigger job boards use Web1.0, HotStartupJobs uses Web2.0 to provide a look and feel that many of the new generation job seekers are used to seeing.

No other site brings together the quantity of jobs that we can from exciting startup companies into one place.  We’ve created an aggregating system unlike any other that gathers thousands of jobs and presents them in a searchable manner in a sleek presentation.

Startup companies can come in all forms

September 10, 2008 – 10:52 am | by Kevin

HotStartupJobs.com was founded with the goal of bringing multiple job sources of exciting jobs into one location.  As the name implies, many of these jobs are from great startups.  Startups are not limited to companies, but also include new divisions targeting new audiences.  Often times, these bring together the best of both worlds, a stable developed company with a division that is designed to be agile and cutting edge.

Startup companies can come in all forms, including those that are simply life-style companies, but the phrase “startup company” if often associated with high growth, technology oriented companies. [Wikipedia]

A great example of a new or revamped division is Time Warner’s AOL site which has been redone with the latest Web2.0 technologies.  They have also started a new site called Propeller.com, a Digg like news discovery service.  Another example is Toyota ’s creation of the Scion division.  Toyota was targeting a new, young, hip audience.  If you take a look at the two websites, you will notice a dramatic difference – Scion’s website uses a lot of flash whereas Toyota ’s does not.

HotStartupJobs.com has created a cutting-edge aggregator that brings these jobs together.
